Meet Anita van der Westhuizen
Anita van der Westhuizen has joined the team at Gladstone Hands On Physiotherapy in December 2011 and is proving to be a real asset to the practice. She brought with her 15 years of experience in the profession with 13 years spent in private practice. Her passion is assessing and treating muscle and joint injuries and dysfunction. Her main areas of expertise are Dry Needling, Manual Therapy and Physiotherapy Impact Mobilisation (or activator as it is called by Chiropractors).
Anita says: "I have completed the Physiotherapy Impact Mobilisation course last year and have had great success using the “activator” on a variety of joint conditions. I love to use hands-on techniques to diagnose and treat my patients and believe that not enough hands on therapy are being practiced anymore"
